Generating and sharing link via Slack.com

Sharing with Slack the generated message is to long to include the link to my app. The barcode is useless. Ca I get my 1000 energy back? None of my coworkers can use the barcode and they have the app.

Don’t send the entire message, just the URL.

Why can’t they use it? Is there an error message like “App is stopped by the author, you may try it reload later”. If so, that is normal… it means you have to run your master copy so that it will work on their apps as well.

Also… you probably can’t get the energy back. http://docs.blynk.cc/#sharing

Can I share the link again without using 1000 “energy”? I didn’t consider the length of the automated message, but will in the future. The barcode works from the log-in screen. It seems a bit … out of place to send them a barcode to scan with their phone from their screen, instead of just getting a link, which they would have, if Slack didn’t reduce it down to http:// haha.

As long as you still have the link/QR code available/visible on your device or visible in any alternative sharing method you used (email/etc.), then you shouldn’t need to re-share it with additional energy expense.

The QR code or link will do the same thing, no reason to use one over the other (unless the receiving device doesn’t have a rear facing camera) as both can be easily emailed/etc. if required.
