ESP Free Memory Heap leak or something

looking at your printings I am wondering: are you running the same sketch without modifications? I never saw changes of 1600 bytes tho …

Yes I’m running the Master and there has been huge changes since 2.3.0 was released 12 months ago.

Yes but Master release not that old 2.3.0 stuff.

i agree, let see when the 2.4.0 will be officially released ( it will also has 2.1.0 SDK … )

Dear Costas,
did you see the reported by me problem or in your case the free heap is retained almost stable over the time?
Please report it back to me at your convenience.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Mike Kranidis

It’s been running for more than 6 hours now and I have exactly the same free Heap as I started with. It’s been up and down during the 6 hours but hasn’t changed for the last 4 hours.

Thanks a lot Costas. That means problem related to Arduino ESP8266 core… I need a confirmation from someone with version 2.3.0 the version that I have.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Mike Kranidis

@Costas
Dear Costas, dear all,
following Costas recommendations, I did a brand new Ardiuno 1.8.3 installation I git clone the current master of Arduino ESP8266 Core and the final Blynk library 0.4.7 and I OTA again.
Disaster, the reported problem still there.
The same problem as you can see in the picture that I will post…

Any good idea what to do? Is there somebody here to test my attached piece of code above? Please help me. I don’t know what else to do…

Thanks
