Do I Need Bridge at Dashboard?

Hi, I have 2 devices connected with bridge in the code. So far it works without a bridge on the dashboard. Why is there a widged for the dashboard? Greets, bernd

I think it’s a leftover from a previous update, but I’m not sure really.

My understanding is that currently the only purpose of the widget in the dashboard is to remind users that they have a bridge set up between devices.

Exactly. But very soon this will be changed. So we recommend to add it. Also we will increase space soon too, so it better to add it now to avoid any possible problem in future.
