I’ve been trying to generate a certificate but it keeps failing. It seems to generate the user.pem certificate normally but then I get the following error. I’m running server version 0.28.2-Java8 on a Rpi2 and I haven’t made any major changes to the server.properties file.
Why does it seem to be generating your certificate when starting the Server?? Isn’t the self generated certificate something you do separately and then use the info when creating the server.properties file?
Or are you simply installing the basic server and this is the result of it’s Automatic Let’s Encrypt certificates generation in which case, have you followed the install directions? (see link).
Did you follow this:
You need to start server on port 80 (requires root or admin rights) or make port forwarding to default Blynk HTTP port - 8080.
?
This is most likely the cause. Unfortunately I have another server that I have to run on port 80.
