Personally i found the new version daunting and quite frankly i am more than happy with the old version running on my raspberry pi.
I dont want to spend a ton of time developing my projects. It is simple and reliable with the exception of a few crashes.
I would personal buy a one time licence for the original blink and pay a under $7.00/month subscription fee… much like i pay for ifttt, wink, prime etc./
