To start off, blynk is a great product, hands down. I have been using and testing it while protyping and i liked it. I seek apologies in advance but i was startled at seeing the cost plans for blynk. I am just wandering are there companies out there really using blynk ? Again, i can be absolutely wrong here but i just wanting to know how the businesses are breaking the price / cost among their customers are making a profit. I am currently in a phase of finding a software end solution. No grudge againt this platform; may be its me.May be I am not able to wrap my head around the pricing structure.

i’m also not a businessman, so i do not know.

but i think, it all boils down for how many people you can sell the app. the several hundred euro monthly fee it seems much, but if you can sell the app to hundreds or thousands of people, than maybe you can make some profit…

Nope. You pay for the app. Making own app will cost you at least 10k $ + a lot of time for domain, mail, push and other things you don’t think right now about.

The price is honest as they sell you the infrastructure and app, to develop something like that, keep running and support you would spend a lot more money.
