Very disapointed experience

@Pavel
Noted - but if you ask for input, it’s kind of rude to write feedback of with “…people should study of course.”.
Your definition of what’'s obvious probably won’t be the same as for a Blynk-entry level USER.

Ii never got the feeling that Local server is for entry level users.

It’s not mentioned in Google Play, and is not advertised as a feature anywhere.

Indeed, it is specifically purported to be only be necessary in a very limited set of situations…

Thanks @Pavel I was generalising ;)… but current support for more than 2.5 types would be nice… all the rest can wait until tomorrow :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

PS, I like Sci-Fi…

I didn’t mean to be offensive, by no means.

but “running a server” doesn’t even sound like an easy thing :slight_smile:

btw, it’s used by less than 10% of our users, which means that the rest 90 are enjoying the easiness of Blynk Cloud.

Fair enough - all good.

Just found the local Blynk server to be what I wanted. :slight_smile:
The alternativ was to program my own middleware-server, and UI.
And I must say, that installing the server was a very smooth experience - add a Debian server to the virtual host, install Java and run .jar file! I liked that a lot! (Well as smooth as installing Java ever gets :slight_smile:)
So I’m very happy about Blynk as it saves me for hours and hours of server / UI /connection coding!
