@Gunner ,
Try Droid4x, it works like a charm with Blynk
Have a look:
Thanks, I will give that a try.
I was installing something called Andy, but it is giving my anti-malware a workout with all the webpages and chrome extensions it is trying to install… I am terminating this one
Well that works just great!! Thanks for the referral to Droid4x.
Now I don’t have to keep dragging out my phone or tablet for quick tests or checkups.
Even the video works
And now I have two instances running all the time, one for Cloud, one for Local (no more login/password hassles… when at the workbench at least)… keeps my phone and tablet free for other uses when I am home.
I didn’t know video was available in Droid4X. Will give it a go as I recently managed to expose my “Tenvis” to the internet without port forwarding on the router. Works fine in the Blynk VLC app.
Edit: are you using the VLC or regular Blynk version for the video?
WAN video streaming, without router port forwarding, to Droid4X with Blynk’s VLC enhanced app confirmed as working.
When I have time to set up the camera to include the air con and TV in the shot I’ll hopefully knock up a video.
Definitely the VLC method
