Local Server lost password

I lost my password for the admin pages. Is there a way to reset fro pi console or password recovery?

You can try restarting the server, apparently the default login gets re-enabled when that happens, I think if you haven’t changed that password then you can login that way.

You need to remove admin@blynk.cc file from your data folder and restart server.

Thank you…You are very quick to respond and greatly appreciate your attentiveness.

I have the same problem, updated from 0.22.2 to 0.24.5 and now admin page moved to port 9443 and I have to enter password (I didn’t remember it). Tried remove admin@blynk.cc but it can’t help. Also can someone explain what does it mean in config reset-pass.http.host= and how I can change password via UI?

Hello. All you need is

  1. Stop server;
  2. Remove file admin@blynk.cc in your data folder;
  3. Start server;
  4. Login with provided credentials;

reset-pass.http.host=

This property is no longer used.

Thanks, it works.

p.s. - 4) Login with provided credentials (login: admin@blynk.cc password: admin)

Has this been disabled ?

I forgot my main account login due to not having had the need to use its password for a long time. After removing admin@blynk.cc from data folder and restarting the server I dont get a new admin account either (I had changed its password aswell and can’t remember it lols)

@Fettkeewl did you manually set your user as “super admin”?

Yes I did but im fine now ^.^ i remembered my password thankfully I could give a good 20 atempts without getting blocked or so :stuck_out_tongue:
