Hi!

Is there a built in way of checking the status of a Bridge?

I’m thinking either a way of being informed that the recipient has received the virtualwrite or some type of timestamp of latest heartbeat from the recipient?

Bridge is just another way of sending a vPin command… so as far as the device is concerned, it just gets the data from the server… no idea if via App, Bridge or API.

As with most any other widget, the only true feedback is by sending a follow up message back. Usually to the App, or with notification, but in the case of Bridge, being from a different project, you need another Bridge pointing back to the ‘sender’.

Using BLYNK_WRITE() with Bridge

The only way I can think of for getting feedback of a bridge action is by sending the feedback back… by another bridge However, your device will have absolutely no idea if the action was triggered via the App or the Bridge… so feedback like that might not be what you are wanting.

built in, no. but with some workaround you can use the api for that.
