Blynk Local server + IFTTT

There are 2 ways to do it, hard with body or simple without.

But it will be worth the time invested because I am disabled so anything I am capable of doing now will ultimately help me in the longer term

Probably yes.

Did you not bother with the bash script on your old SD card?

I’m trying to weigh up the risk versus reward all I stand to gain is the email working whereas I have still got a similar solution by uploading them to the Naz box so that is the conundrum I am in

So as a rule of thumb should my URL in each applet and by mirroring the correct button pin number in the app and by adding ?value=1

Please repost your last question as it doesn’t make sense.

Applet?

Still doesn’t make sense so I will guess your question.

You will have 30 different urls, half ending update/[pin]?value=1 and half ending update/[pin]?value=0

You will have 15 different tokens across the 30 urls.

My question about applet was asking for the screenshot or text on the GA applet you are using, do you have these details?

yes sure

in each blynk project i have used different pins, some are Digitals and some are Virtuals. i.e sonoff are D12 and other home made devices are V1 etc.

so when i make an applet in IFTTT. Do i use the corresponding pin as used in the Blynk project?

examples would be:-:
http://WAN IP/token/update/V1?value=1 turn on
http://WAN IP/token/update/V1?value=0 turn off
http://WAN IP/token/update/D12?value=1 turn on
http://WAN IP/token/update/D12?value=0 turn off

yes exactly that

sorry i was slow motion typing

Yes but take care with ESP boards with silkscreen pin labels prefixed with “D” so D4 for an ESP is not D4 in the url. It’s Dx where x is the real GPIO number.

what is GA ?

Google Assistant.

yes i understand this

my old sd card already autostarts, i think the reason is it was the older raspbian image and earlier java version, RC local worked for me then

You need to be using the latest version of the server not one from 6 months ago.

Applet, applet, applet?

@Costas My question about applet was asking for the screenshot or text on the GA applet you are using, do you have these details?

what details do you want?

A screenshot of the one from seventy available Google Assistant applets in IFTTT.

i need to clarify my position… 8080 MUST BE IN THE APPLETT URL

i.e http://WAN IP:8080/TOKEN/update/D12?value=1 turns on
